Egypt - Life on the Nile

All I wanted to do even more than see the great pyramids was to sail on the River Nile. Aswan to Luxor on a boat that held about 150 people, but we did not have that many on our boat. It was very comfortable. The upper deck was perfect for watching the scenery and the life on the Nile. My goal is to go back and sail on a smaller boat to get into smaller towns. There is so much more, make sure to watch the video and all the galleries.

Before Luxor we go through the Esna Locks. It is not uncommon to have to queue to proceed through the lock and you listen to the shouts of the many captains as they navigate there way through the various small boats of merchants selling their wares to a captive audience - Life on the Nile.
