The beautiful Temple of Isis (the Goddess of health, marriage and wisdom), which was rescued from the rising waters of the Nile and relocated on Philae Island. It's a marvel of decorative pylons featuring some of Egypt's finest carvings – definitely one of the real gems of Upper Egypt. It was especially stunning at the light show at night. I was standing to the side to affoid people in my photos. A security guard came over and brought me to the front. Of course he wanted a tip. But that was nice. There was not a ton of people at this evening show, so dodging people was not a big deal.
