One of my very favorite places to photograph. The largest state park in California, with 500 miles of dirt roads, numerous camping opportunities, 12 wilderness areas and many miles of hiking trails that provide the opportunity to experience desert wonders including bighorn sheep, wildflowers, palm groves, cacti and sweeping vistas.
I have spent many days there, and there is so much more to see. I will be adding more. I have many new images and older ones. I cannot believe I have been so behind on adding this to my site. You will be able to tell how much I like this place.
I heard a man say he could not find anything to photograph recently. I thought he was being caddish. Then I heard him tell his partner Come on, let’s go. I said to myself, you are crazy; I have already taken 300-plus images. I guess you have to appreciate what the desert has to offer year-round. I love it!
