Maple Ave is in Dividing Creek, NJ. The road leads to Turkey Point. Maple Ave. bisects an impoundment area that features mudflats on one side and open water on the other side. This unique setting has an excellent diversity of birds and different animal life. I see eagles often as well as swans and herons. When the tide is low is best for birds. Also suitable for watching people crabbing and fishing. I once saw this guy tossing a next. It was fantastic to watch and photograph. In winter, wow, it is wide open, and that wind cuts through you! No amount of layers can keep you warm. I have to keep extra batteries warm in the car. It's also harder to shoot fast since the digital camera does not record as quickly. Shooting in the winter is beautiful.
There are also intersections on this with Maple Creek. I think that is the best way to explain it.
