A.J. Meerwald

A.J. Meerwald is a restored dredging oyster schooner whose home port is in the Bivalve section of Commercial Township in Cumberland County, New Jersey. I love sailing on the Meerwald. I have been countless times. As time permits, this will be a large gallery. In May, she was under restoration, and I visited the town of Bristol and was able to photograph in the last stages. I love this schooner. I have been especially intrigued by all the details. My cousin Ed Cobb was a sailmaker, and my grandfather was a blacksmith in the Port Norris and Bivalve area. That adds to my level of interest. A video is coming as well.
