The Neighborhoods

Always interesting to see how others live. I was sad to see how gray everything was, lots of cement buildings. Except in shopping areas with all the bright colored store fronts.

And along the road side where I was, many little tent or shanty style villages. They all had bee hives everywhere. But I never saw honey for sale. And driving through smaller towns they seemed to be closed off neighborhoods, gated as we would say, but luxury wasn't the theme.

I am sure other parts of China have different living styles. But interesting to see urban Beijing.
